Jacob & Co. Announces Partnership with Manchester City and Launches Three Epic X Collaborations

While Manchester United is the team with the most wins in Premier League history, their rivals Manchester City have dominated the modern game with six titles since 2018. Manchester City are no strangers to a high-end watch or two, just look at the collection of head coach Pep Guardiola. Now, they have announced a new official watch partnership with Jacob & Co. As part of the partnership, Jacob & Co. has launched three collaborative watches: the Epic X Sport Edition Manchester City and two Epic X Chrono 44 Edition Manchester City, available in all rose gold and rose gold and ceramic versions.

Epic X Sport Edition Manchester City
First up is the Epic X Sport Edition Manchester City, which measures 41mm in diameter and has a case made of titanium. The dial is as dazzling as you’d expect, with a bright and shiny rhodium finish and a diamond pattern. The Manchester City logo is prominently located below the hand at 6 o’clock. The club’s colours are also well represented through the minute track, hexagonal rubber strap and crown. It is powered by the JCHA01, a time and date movement with a 70-hour power reserve.

Model: Jacob & Co. Epic X Sport Edition Manchester City Reference: EX130.20.AA.AA.A Case: Ø41mm x 11.40mm thick, titanium Dial: Thallium with diamond pattern Water resistance: 50m (5bar) Movement: Jacob & Co JCHA01 automatic, 28 jewels Frequency: 28,800 vph (4 Hz) Power reserve: 70h Functions: Hours, minutes, seconds, date Strap: Honeycomb rubber.

Epic X Chrono 44 Manchester City Special Edition
The second model is the all-rose gold Epic X Chrono 44 Edition Manchester City. The 44mm rose gold case with distinctive X-shaped lugs reminds me of Jacob & Co.’s other high-profile soccer collaboration, the CR7 collection with Cristiano Ronaldo. However, the case here features a dial with a binocular chronograph display with small seconds and a 30-minute counter. The dial itself is also translucent, offering a glimpse of the JCAA05 movement underneath. It also has a sapphire exhibition caseback engraved with the words “The best team in this land and in the world,” which all three wholesale replica watch have.

The final piece is the rose gold and blue ceramic Epic X Chrono 44 Manchester City Edition. This watch is essentially the same as the full gold version, except that the bezel, pushers, crown, and case back are made of sky blue ceramic. This adds a sporty touch to this gold watch. It’s powered by the same JCAA05 movement with a 48-hour power reserve.

As a collaboration, these three watches are pretty much what you’d expect from a Jacob & Co. and Manchester City collaboration. If Erling Haaland hadn’t already been chosen as a Breitling ambassador, you can imagine he’d be very interested – and indeed, judging by early promotional material, it looks like Phil Foden will be the face of the partnership.
